The private Investigation also known as Private I is glamorized by the Television and/or Movies. The story line is they will fight with the bad people, survive them, catch them and get their girl. In real life, the PI job is much more like any other job. They usually have to find faults in the husbands or wives wanting a divorce. As the person, seeking divorce is feels that the other person is cheating on him/her. The Private I’s job consists of: Watching the subject who is under investigation, report on their activities, and it is a very long process and it can take months to find out about the person concerned. The general misconception about this is sitting in the car and watching the house. However, watching the house is a very serious matter and the PI’s have to be watchful. They need to do lots of research by finding out the past of the subject. They can spend many hours in the local library on the net. If they can find anything then they have to research on it and reach the conclusions. If they cannot find anything in the past of the subject, they may want to talk to different people who know the subject well and find out some truths out of it. The private Investigators need to be probing and prying into the private lives of the people they are investigating. The Private Investigators also look for clues when there is a murder. The private investigators job is varied today as not only the divorce needs a private investigator but today murders, embezzlement, also need private Investigators.
